Hi, Andrew – Have you seen the method of raised bed planting which uses bales of straw treated with fertilizer, into which you plant seeds directly? The bales last one season, and break down into compost. I have only seen this method used with a chemical fertilizer; do you know how this could be done with an organic fertilizer? Thanks!
