There are fruits, and then there are fruits. Some you’ll never be able to pick, and will be littering your lawn, others are on public land and will be dropping on cars. In either event, it would be a waste not to gather free food for yourself or for your food bank. It’s a little early for the northeast, but it’s a good time to start looking and to register if you have trees that you’ll never be able to harvest.
